In my opinion V200 is ana amazing phone-it is true indeed that there are some missed features and other that couls have been done better. However, I like this phone,the camera is perfect,don't forget that its the only phone with zoom in the camera!The ringtones are not so interesting like with Nokia.Whu the menu is so animated-I don't like that.And last - impressive outlook and menu but some small rocks can turn the car!

Hiya, I got this phone just over a week ago after always having nokia mobiles.

Last one I had was the Nokia 6510 which I adored, it is small, nice looking and very easy to use but I was sick of finding I had phoned 999 if I knocked it in my bag (even with the keypad locked!) so I decided, after seeing the V200 advertised on the TV, I would be better with a flip phone and the fact it had a camera was even better!! Do I like the phone?? Yes I have to admit I do but the texting annoys me because I don't use predictive texting and you have to turn it off EVERY time you want to text someone. Typing a text on a nokia is easier because it automatically makes the first letter after a fullstop a capital for you (on my 6510 anyway) and on the samsung you have to change it yourself which is easy enough to do but it's a pain when you are used to not having to do it!!! Having said that, I am getting used to the Samsung and it isn't difficult to send texts. Another thing I don't like is that you can't lock the keypad which is a downfall if you have taken some naughty pics using the well impressive camera bit on the phone!! (hee hee) My mate has a panasonic camera phone and you can lock that so nobody can pick up your phone and peep!!!! The samsung lets you lock the keypad (and the phone itself) so that a code has to be keyed in once the phone is switched on but then there is no protection once the phone is on (there wasn't on my nokia either) The phone comes with a cable to enable you to send the pictures you have taken to your pc which is a good idea, saves a fortune on processing real pics. Okay the quality isn't as good but if you get the camera in the right light you can take some REALLY surprisingly good pics!! All in all it is a great phone, could do with being smaller but I am very impressed overall. The ringtones are excellent and sound really good quality (even airwolf which I downloaded too!!) the colour screen is outstanding and although I would change some of the features on the phone I would recommend it. If you get it and don't like it don't blame me!!!

I've had this phone for 3 days now after upgrading from the t100. I think it is great. The sounds, animations, camera and all the funky little extras make it a really cool little phone. The only thing that I dislike about it is that it is a little chunkier than the t100 but thats just a small price to pay for a great phone. Also, just wanted to say to the guy who said that you cannot upload photos from phone to pc with the software that if you download the newer version of the software (ver 2.1.5) from the samsung website, this now allows you to upload your pics.

Well i've had chance to get used to this phone, and my opinion has slightly altered from my first posting.

Still unimpressed with the build quality. getting used to the menu layout. Overall apart from the damn T9 predictive text i must say i'm liking the phone even more everytime i use it. Polyphonic ringtones are much better than any others i've heard and tonnes better than any Nokia. yeah, like the phone AND liking it enough to sell my beloved T100!! . 9 out of 10.
